Ovarian Cancer National Alliance
The purpose of OCNA is to “to conquer ovarian cancer by uniting individuals and organizations in a national movement.” As women, we find it very important to raise awareness and funds to support this organization. Ovarian cancer is often underlooked, simply because women are uneducated about this disease. Ovarian Cancer National Alliance has a mission to advance the interests of women with ovarian cancer. The organization provides support for women going through treatment for ovarian cancer, increase funding for the development of an early detection test, and raises public awareness for the risks and symptoms of ovarian cancer.

We had so much fun volunteering with the Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance at the first Whisper Walk for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in September 2013!
Ovarian cancer survivor and member of the Board at Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Allliance, Jan McNally, came to speak with us in September about the symptoms of ovarian cancer and how God worked in her life during that difficult time.
